Is there any information on this subject , i read there will be 100 songs for download in the first year of RockBand , Price of each song ?

I havent read anything really yet, but I presume there will be bundle songs just like in Guitar Hero for 500 points each. Maybe some character clothing and skins for (200?).

Well i dont use points... Am a ps3 owner so but i am guessing that it will be in packs and probably .99-1.99 per Song on the Ps Store

No word on pricing for anything. Hopefully after E3 and PAX that will change. It should be a great time to announce pricing if it isn't going to be really high/going to take people's focus off of any new info they announce.

I don't think anything is official yet. They don't even know the price of the game and accessories yet (or at least haven't announced them). I hope they wont be too expensive. Hopefully only as much as a downloadable song maybe $0.99 - $1.99. I know there were people complaining about the DLC for GH II on the 360 I think the price of those was $5 for 3 song packs (I don't own a 360 so I could be wrong). Hopefully Activision will take note of everyones unpleasantness and make it cheaper than that.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of complaining over that. I want them to be cheaper, obviously, but if there is a pack with just one song that I really want to play, I'll probably shell out the money. If they were cheap, I'd buy most if not all of the packs, but if they were like GH2 DLC, I would only buy the packs that had songs I would want to play. That being said, it seems that more profit would come from making the packs cheaper. Of course, not everyone is like me.

If Harmonix/EA/MTV puts out new DLC at $2/song or less while Activision/Neversoft keeps its 500 pts/3 songs price point, I will cackle hysterically and triumphantly.

With Guitar Hero, I'd probably top out around $1.50/song; for Rock Band, $2/song on average (and maybe even $3 for something amazing, like Crazy Train). This is the price at which I'd likely buy every song released.

Well, if there are going to be as many songs as they say available for download in the first year(which will more than likely be '08, unless they skip a year or something... :confused: ), then I can confidently say that, unless we get DSL or faster within the next year, I'm going to be going over to my bud's house often just to use his cable modem. :D
