Used Rockband 2 Question.

I'm about to buy rockband 2 and I can either buy it new or used. I just had one question about the used one. If I buy the used one can the code to get the 20 free downloadable songs be used twice? I'm guessing the person who previously owned it used the code.

The 20 free songs cannot be downloaded with a used game unless the original owner did not redeem the code on the manual.
