I am having a similar problem, a 700012 series PS2, when you insert rockband two the disk does not even spin it is like there is nothing in the console at all.

set everything up for my kids for "SANTA"....Alas the friggen game disk will not load in the ps2....very upset with whoever produced disk! Crappy Christmas for my kids.....I am very P1$$3D! ....:mad:

Today is christmas day and my mom got me rock band 1 for my playstation two. when i plug in the mic and hit multiplayer it says join band. so i hit green on the drums but what am i supposed to hit on the microhpone to get it to go. please help!

I got rock band 1 today and my system wont even load the game and when it does it comes up with a red screen that says i need a format disk.
