hey hey hey.

just got rockband 2, have a sony bravia lcd.

its a new hurtz count, apparently the newest level you can get right now for refresh rates so it could explain some things later.

i... for the life of me, cannot get a nice audio lag setting.

for video lag, i believe... believe it or not, that 0 is the perfect setting as the note has backtravel and forward travel perfectly.

the audio is the trouble. at first, another setting of zero for audio seems to be perfectly in tune with the notes in slow motion. (i think so)

yet sometimes when i play i notice so slip and slide that doesn't feel right.

and the song P.D.A. it almost impossible to catch all those ntoes on hard even though it should be easy in theory... i have no idea why it wont work, i go perfectly in tune with the music and in slowmow thats all i have to do.

yet... when i ramp up the audio lag, to the 70s or the 100s or inbetween, i get those notes easy... but then normal strings of different noted up and down the scale are near impossible to play natural.

WTFFFFF

should i keep it at zero and somehow master pda through... idk... see? i dont even know...

i call shenanigans on hdtv engineers and harmonix programmers, i call SHENS!!!!

Welcome to the forums.

I had some issues calibrating my PS3 and a Sony lcd. what I ended up doing was calibrating with a RB1 guitar and then adjusting the numbers, keeping the difference between audio and video the same, until it felt right.

Hope this helps.
