Wireless Drums+Mic problems

How come when I am using my wireless Rock Band 2 drum set I can't use my Xbox 360 wireless mic on the same frequency? My drum set is connected to player 1 and when I turn my mic on it connects to player 2 and there is no way I can get the mic to go to player 1. No matter what I do I can't gwt my drums and mic on the same frequency. Help.

i remember this being a problem when the wireless drum kit was first released, i guess they never got around to patching it. it just sucks, because i personally hate playing drums with a wired headset...

Well I don't have a wired headset so I can't talk at all when I use my drums. I really wish they would fix this.
