After not having a drumset for about 4 or 5 months, I was finally able to get on today after taking a Christmas gift back to Gamestop. First I had to drive for about 2 hours to find one that had the set in stock, but I knew it'd be worth it. Get home, hook everything up, and play through the drum trainers for the achievements, then move on to World Tour mode. Get through the about 4 songs and a mystery setlist, start a new song, and all of a sudden the pedal won't work. Plug in an old RB1 pedal, it doesn't work either. Then in an interesting discovery, I find out that if I hold down the d-pad on the set the bass pedal will hit (WTF?) Is there a known fix for this? I really have to wait for an RMA after waiting so long to finally have a drumset to beging with. Truly impressive Harmonix, an hour of play before the drumset is useless. Those POS RB1 sets lasted longer.

You could try a mono extension cable. Some users have stated that the pigtail cable can cause stress on the jack, resulting in problems.

i had the exact same problem with mine..well kind of similar.Did anyone unplug the drum pedal while you were playing a song then plug it back in? That could be your problem my sister did that and my drum pedal would go crazy then i unplug it and plug it back in and it would stop and when i pressed the d-pad and it would start goin crazy when i was in the song select menu i couldnt even pick a song because of the drum pedal.

I called customer service they gave me a brand new drum pedal and i sent my rock band pads in.

Oh and i have a rock band 2 wireless drumset not the rb1 drum set.
