help rock band drum kit for wii not working

I do not have any other rock band instruments...I just bought the drums so I do not have the 4 way USB adaptor. I am just plugging the drum kit into the USB on the back of my wii and the light on the drum kit comes on but the 4 little dots on the drums stay unlit so I cannot sinc it to my wii. What am I doing wrong.....or am I missing avital component to enable me to play?

I just got my Rock Band.....played a few songs and the blue drum is not working. Is this something that can be re-set or is it a hardware problem and has to be returned. Just looking to see if someone else experienced this. Thanks.

exact same problem. the drum button is lit, but none of the 4 lights are lit up

I have had the same problems with the drums...contact EA for replacement...1-650-628-1001 you need your purchase receipt (warranty for 60 days from purchase date), credit card and ability to send a copy of the receipt to them via e-mail or fax with a RMA# they will give you when you cann to explain your problem...good luck!
