This is a guide if your drumset is not regerstin evertime you hit it.

I have the same problem but i found out that where the sticker is that shows the color if u hit a little below that that the drum always regesters but if you hit it in the middle it dosent always register.

Hope this helps some people=)

My yellow pad started registering about half of the hits I'd give it, I tried all the methods out there. Today and now it flatout stopped working at all and nothing ever registers anymore period the end....

airbakin,

I have the same problem you have described. It's especially frustrating it had to be the yellow as every song seems to use this pad the most, with the exception of "Maps." So for the past couple days I've been forced to repeatedly play that song on Medium to get my fix, but I have discovered that the other pads are failing now as well (blue being the most obvious).

Guitar is failing now as well.

God help me with this ridiculous addiction...

I'm now drumming left handed for my fix

Heres what i found out... The Air Gaps sometimes spread out to far so just a second ago i did a test on it.
i had my sister hold down the drum that dosent repsond well and it worked evertime i could even roll so if u duck tape the pad down where theres no air holes it sould work try it wiht someone holding it down

Well I finally put my curiosity and frustration to rest and just looked around under the yellow drum to see what might be the problem, and I found it. It appears as though the two wires that connect the drum sensor on the pad to the motherboard of the drum set are the issue here.

One of the two wires is completely cut in half, and it appears all other wires are prone to the same problem over a period of time. (For my drums) there's a ring of plastic surrounding the sensor, and it must of cut the wire, considering the small surface area of the plastic ring, like a knife.

I can't imagine it would void the warranty looking under one of these pads considering they're already very loosely attached and nothing is getting unscrewed, so go take a look at your own risk and expose the poor design.
