PLayed all instruments. Friends have come over and played all instruments.
No problems. No broken instruments. No broken USB hubs. No game glitch issues. Nothign but pure fun.
I really feel bad for the guys stuck with poor equipment.
My stuff has been performing great. THe Les paul on xbox 360 is ace and I love using the strat now. I have gotten used to it and it hasnt broken at all.

I'll testify that my friends and I have almost beat the hell out of our instruments from hours upon hours of play (at least 30 hours or so), and everything is still holding up wonderfully.
Not to mention that I work at a video game store where we have two copies of Rock Band set up for people to play on. They are CONSTANTLY being used every hour that we are open, and so far we've had no incidents involving faulty equipment.

Well it seems I'm Mr. Irony today.
My drums work fine, always have.
Mic does good (well, I borked it myself doing my Wil Farrell BOC impression, so it's not equipment failure)
Guitar runs great.
Ready for the irony?
My new Ibanez electric bass guitar that I bought the same day as Rock Band? CRAPPED OUT ON ME TODAY (faulty pickup).
So, yeah. My fake guitars work fine, my REAL one broke!

Oh my god, that is SO full of suck.
However, I bet the Ibanez electric bass guitar will STILL be easier to find this holiday season than Rock Band!

LOL no doubt. When I called Guitar Center and told them that it died on me, they said 'bring it right in and we'll fix it'. My response of "Ok, but I have to finish my world tour on Rock Band first, and then I'll be in" drew many a laugh :)

Im with the OP! Game runs perfect so far. I love the strat and the NO clicky noise!!!

The no clicky noise is AMAZING. As the singer for my band, I already get super distracted by the drumming, and the lack of clicks helps. Also, it's good when you want to play late at night.

also no probs (other than the mic adapters) and that's with myself/wife and kids 13/11/5 wearing out everything, peripherals seem sturdy to me (but I also haven't tackled any drums past medium, so I might take that back after some metallica...haha)

I felt like a minority. I've had no problem at all. My wife, neighbors and I have all played quite a bit.

thanks. that makes me feel better to know its not broken everywhere. Remember usually only the people with problems are posting.
My guitar has a bad downstroke and a sticky red key, Im waiting on a replacement. Drums/mike are a-ok. Im just pissed my hubby talked me into getting the ps3 version cause we cant use other guitars.
