Any chance at DLC for more guitars, etc. in the game?

Just wondering if there is going to be any downloads to give more customization options for the characters. Most importantly being the instruments, it's pretty corny that the only instruments available are by Ludwig and Fender/Gretsch.

I'm going to guess that there will be more clothes/hair etc. and possibly instruments. But I wouldn't expect anything other than fender, judging by the fact that all the guitars in game are fenders and the control is a fender then I'd assume that HMX/EA have some sort of deal with Fender.

In the same way as GH only features Gibson guitars.

It's doubtful, of course, but I'd love some more options for instruments. More clothes/hair/tattoos/etc. would be awesome.

Yeah, I mean seriously.

An amp patch would be incredible. And some more guitars.

Plus, I mean if you play guitar you know, there's nothing on earth that sounds as good as a Gibson Les Paul through a Marshall stack. (Tube-only, like a JCM800).

At this point DLC has to be geared towards profit. HMX has established RB as a platform, an ongoing vehicle. Releasing new DLC to add options and features to the game pro bono isn't going to be a sound decision in that direction. We may see the occasional event occur (much like GH3 with the Halo theme), but on a regular basis, you can expect to pay for additional options that become available.

I'm sure that most of us are annoyed by the lack of options (most specifically only Fender guitars, and one amp) and we would be more than willing to shell out a few bucks for these things that would make the game much more fun.

Plus, how sweet would it be if we were able to get pedals too, and maybe they could put out a pedal board that would control them, that would be sick, it's such a pain in the ass to use that switch and not mess up.

Doesn't RO/GH have an exclusive deal with Gibson?

If so...you ain't getting a Les Paul.

I for one would like to see some of the other "off" brands...BC Rich's, Rickenbackers, Steinbergers...that sorta thing, lots of options if they go after the old classics but, prolly some larger company 'owns' them now.

I'd LOVE to see a Les Paul but pretty sure that’s a licensing issue tho...

Seems to be the case, which really sucks. That would be great as well, I mean other brand not just gibson.

ESP, Ibanez, BC Rich, all would be great.

It would be real cool if the different guitars could change the tones the guitars have when you play the songs, but that's probably beyond this generation.

I'd settle for at least being able to change your amps.
