Extra TV for game

Is there a way that PS3 owners can have an extra television display the game because I am having a New Years eve party and I've formed a rock band and we're gonna perform, however I would like for the audience to see the screen and for obvious reasons, my band mates. I've seen this done in promotions and on different game sites, but how is it done?

you can buy a video and audio splitter cable you plug your audio and video into it then you can plug the same ps3 into two tvs but they both have to have the same resolution

there are video-splitters on the market. basicly they split the videosignal in 2 so you can show 1 videofeed on 2 screens
