Sing and play an instrument at the same time? I have the headset hooked up to the guitar, now what?

you have to use the mic in the game, I believe. You have to have an active controller while the mic is plugged in.

Wonderingthe same thing about why they included the adapter for. I would like to be able to sing and play an instrument on the same profile.

Hook your headset up to your guitar. Then hook up the other mic through a USB port. Go back to the main menu and when you sign in to your profile, unplug the mic that's hooked up to the USB. A message will come up saying that a your microphone has been disconnected and give you the option to continue or hook up a mic. Just hit continue and your headset mic will work. That's how I did it.
