Well I did. Got'em for Christmas. The make you pads a lot quieter but it takes a hard hit for the drum pad to actually pick up on the color I hit. It can really screw with ya. I really don't recommend it at all.

Yeah, I had mine on for about 2 months then decided to take them off to complete run to the hills and complited it first try after when I took them off.

I'm thinking about taking the rim from the edge of the drum kit off and see if that helps.

mine work just fine on the RB2 set...on my RB1 set they were horrible though.

just got finished doing that about 10 minutes ago... it seems to have helped me since i cant seem to ever hit the center of the drum in the first place.

I also have the penny mod in there so between the penny mod, the silencers and removing the ring, things are looking pretty good.

//edit//
spoke a tad too soon... the yellow is still dropping a good amount of notes.... i will probably have to do a different mod on that one to get it working better

Ahh okay. Thanks for the feedback.
I might get rock band 2 drums when they come to the UK... anyway so i'll give the silencers a try then

I have the EL of rock band 1 drums since day one with the silencers and ive experianced no problems. my drums must the luckiest pair of drums ever. though the pedal has snapped a few times:P I will say though the yellow and blue pads, the foam UNDER the drum head are REALLY worn down so when i hit them slightly harder than average, i hear a VERY annoying clack of the plastic rim hitting the bottom of the drum kit. is there any fix to this?
