I have a Wii system and just received RB2. I am trying to go to the Rock Band Music Store. When I click on the option I receive the error message "No Rock Band Music Store Data Found". How do I get this to work?
I tried linking my system to the web code and I get an error on this site similiar to the one above.
Thanks for the help

Wow. I love this guy. He's apparently never seen a forum before, despite his almost 600 posts, or he'd know that noobs dominate them looking for info and not searching for it.
It's futile to take the passive aggressive tone you have in your posts, and frankly, you wasted the energy to write " search na na na" when you could have just answered him and made another post available for the people who do search. Since it is inevitable that the noobs will come and not search your then contributing to numerous threads on the subject that now do not contain the answer. You can say whatever you want but your a DB in my book, period.
Look, very simple.. takes moments...
The store wont be open until early 2009. The fans on the boards here begged for it to be released pre christmas, which it wasn't slated till after christmas. So they did release it but that means some separate elements like the music store featuring downloadable content were not fininshed being tested and you'll have to wait for. So you get to play a game much earlier than anticipated but you'll have to wait for the music store. Sounds like a fair trade off to me.

Yes, actually I do. I just read through them. You think this is different than any other board. Thats what happens. People ask the same questions all day, it's a board, it's part of it.
Look, I'm sorry. To me it's like TV, dont come, change the channel, go somewhere else. It's, again, inevitable. it doesnt give him a free license to act like that and I'm calling him on it, that's all. he doesnt have to handle it that way, if he hates it so much perhaps he should just bugger off. It's better than taking all the effort and time he did to go into all these posts and be unhelpful. Or excuse me, less than totally forthcoming about the answer. If it's so laborious again he could go away, or he could type it out once and go around pasting it into posts, making the answer be everywhere, that would be more helpful than what he did and take as much time so...

*facepalm*
How many hours a day do you spend on this forum? You are aware that this is a support forum where you these the kind of questions are going to be asked over and over? If you aren't, you are delusional, despite whatever status you think your myriad number of posts entitles you. If you are aware, then it appears you are just suffering some kind of ego trip, rubbing in your "expert" knowledge by using snarky comments and refusing to actually help someone who needs it. As the previous poster said, how hard is it really to either ignore the post or write a simple straight-forward reply (or use punctuation and proper spelling, for that matter)?
I'll be hated for this, called all sorts of names, and other such nonsense (not that I really care), but if you don't want to help, go to another part of the forum. Don't hang out here and deride those people who just found the support forum just so you can have some sort of ego boost. You're not doing anybody any favors.

Thank you for your answer. I appreciate the straight forward answer and the information.

Trolling my posts. That's a little stalker-like. Please step away from the computer.
Notice that of my nearly 600 posts, the vast majority of them are quite helpful. But even the two people who spend the most time trying to help others on the tech support forums (myself and aznman) get a little frustrated now and again when the answer is easy to find.

Act like what? Providing a useful search string and help the user become more self sufficient should other questions arise? At least I have posts that have served more than to call out a helpful forum member for being helpful in a manner with which I disagree.

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help.
Rather than let this thread turn into an argument over who has been more helpful, or who has helped the most often, I'm going to close this thread.
I would like to remind people that there are going to be a lot of new users on the forums now, as thousands of people have signed up for these forums after the holidays. Many of them are new RB2 owners and they may not be as familiar with the ins and outs of RB lore, and some of them may be new to online forums in general (*GASP!* it's true). It's going to be a lot easier for all of us if we are as patient and helpful as possible, providing tips and links whenever possible (even for topics that may be months old for some of us). Thanks again to everyone for helping out.
