20 Free Songs Validation

I got RB2 fr PS3 as a gift today from my girlfriend and everything works great...but now I have an issue. There is a code on the back of the manual to redeem 20 free songs and I tried using it...I get "the code is invalid or is already used" error...I tried multiple times and checked for errors in the code. The code was not used since I can see the game is new (the game was in its box with instruments and shrink wrap). Please help. I have registered the game on EA.com after many failed attempts of trying at www.rockband.com/bonustracks. I dont know if it is going to make a difference or not, but, if i am able to register it on ea.com without error, shouldn't it make the code valid, therefore, not giving me the error on the bonus tracks website. Remember, I tried to register the game through the bonus tracks website BEFORE ea.com. I used the same email address as my ea account on the bonus tracks website.

same thing happened on ym 360, except i alrdy got the codes, got the download to halfway and then it decided to stop the download. now it won't let me do anything with the code. when i try to put in the code on the 360, it says invalid code, so i cant get the 20 songs for some reason. D:

At least you got to get the download...I cant even get to the download since it states my code is invalid and it is my first time using it! HELP US, I pay for a game with over 100 tracks and all I get is 84...

press xbox guide button scroll to the right select account management -> download history -> redownload it from there
