Question for Wii owners

We have RB2 for the Wii, and I'm trying to figure out how to get online with it. I have wireless internet and a wireless router and have no problem with connecting with an X-box 360 and I can connect and get the news and weather on my Wii menu. Do I need to purchase the internet channel for my Wii menu or am I not doing something right? I did add the access ports to allow them to come through my firewall. Any and all help would be appreciated!!!

Nintendo has a help section for conecting the Wii to the internet. This might help any issues short of firewall/router ones...

You simply have to go to online quickplay or online worldtour

Have you tried doing world tour or online quickplay. you have to press yellow on guitar/drums and th 2 button on wii remote at the character screen after you select your character.
