Practice Mode

The games states that you can play along with MP3's in practice mode on the drums. Now, my question (hopefully not to dumb) is this. How do you play the MP3 at the same time you are in the Rock Band practice mode? Or, are they talking about playing the MP3's on another device.


Oh, this doesn't relate to the game songs or DLC, but rather, regular songs you might own.

Practice->Drum Trainer->Freestyle

I haven't actually tinkered with playing an MP3 in the background, but you may be able to get it from there.

Also, which system are you using? That may help those who have used this feature provide more tailored directions.

I figured it out (I'm on xbox360 by the way). All you do is go into freestyle mode, then hit the xbox green lighty button thingy. Then you scroll over to the page that has your video/song library, and then put the cursor in the 'Select Song' box (its where the song's name is displayed during playback). Then it will give you the choice of where to find the music (I plugged in my thumbdrive). Hit play, and go back to the game by hitting the red button a few times....
