I have a limited opinion, but I loved Toxicity. I can't even pick a favourite song from it because they're all just so awesome.

r u stupid?:eek: The topic clearly states that this thread is for those interested in discussing which album is the best from SOAD's collection. If you do not like the band that is fine, but OBVIOUSLY ur opinion on the matter is not appreciated here amongst devoted fans (that would b me).

That being said...I think I spent so much time with the first album (huge gap in time between the release of toxicity after the 1st album), it is still the one that has left the biggest imprint on my brain. Granted I would like to play that "metro" track from Dracula 2000 soundtrack. And the link song (^______^)

I think Steal This Album is the best but I think Serj Tankian's (their lead singer for those of you who don't know) new solo album, Elect The Dead, is better than all of System's stuff.

All of their albums were good but if i have to chose i pick mezmerize because that was the first soad album i listened to

The greatest album by far is steal this album. it is also the album with songs best suited for rock band but closely followed by the first album(Know in particular would be damn fun on drums)

I agree with anyone who says all SOAD albums....

although

the best IMO is Steal This Album. I'm a lover of b-sides and unreleased material, and for a band to re-release all their old demos re-recorded and better than the demos (in most cases) is pretty amazing. So, Steal This Album for a whole album DLC would be purchased instantly by myself and many others. They should also release the Metro and Snowblind as DLC pronto, or Honey, Friick, or Marmalade.

I've wanted to try SoaD, but I wasn't sure where to start. I don't take it as automatic that "the best" is also "the best start with." Recommendations for best place to start? (We have pretty eclectic tastes in our house, but we have some pop tendencies mixed in with our rock/metal sensibilities.)
