Saw on G4 Attack of the Show today and they mentioned the Rock Band Guitar. Get this....EA said....it might take up to TWO FRAKIN WEEKS to get you your replacement....:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Probably not...but it's just as much as a cluster #%^@$%^ I hate not being informed...I could stand behind a company that admits something and fixes it...like MS...even though I detest them sometimes...they did the right thing, owned up and fixed the issue....

Yeah and how long did it take MS to admit the problems and extend the warranty? A year at least.

"Hundreds of requests"? Heh, think again.

I submitted 2 warranty requests in the course of < 3 days (one on 11/22 and the other on 11/24), and the RMA numbers were almost 21,000 apart.

I've really have no idea how many bundles were sold last week, but considering I had to submit two on a single bundle alone with the RMA numbers being 21k apart, they may well have passed the 6 figures mark in returns by now.

So far, no confirmation email, UPS tracking numbers still awaiting pick-up, and the EA support web site still says "New RMA" for status of both requests.

This could easily wind up being the biggest cluster**** since E.T. on the Atari 2600. See you guys in the spring sometime.

who knows, maybe RMA's are random or something, most times they dont go in order, the computer regenerates them from ones not in use. The RMA's are for all of EA not just rock band. there probably are a lot of hundreds or even a few thousand, i would doubt it went to 6 figures. i have new RMA for mine too.

I received my replacement today, didn't have enough time to really play it and see if it generates the same problem with the downstrum not working.

Also did express on the 21st, ea site still says new RMA, so I called support and they gave me my UPS tracking number, which still says awaiting pickup. And no e-mail from ea, you think they'd at least fix that.

YEAH AND WHAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF IS THERE HOLDING MY MONEY UNTIL THEY GET MY GUITAR BACK AHHH. well i guess ill go back to playing call of duty and that other guitar game lol. My biggest question is when do they start counting down the 28 days when it leaves they ea headquarters or when i recieve the new one, and also do they give you a choice say if you send the kick pedal in and they say the crack is caused by abuse do they choose whether you can have the old one back or do they just keep the 100 dollars because i would rather take the old one back then and fix it myself.
