Just got rock band for the kids,how do you access all the songs?

unlock them doing challenges on world tour (not guitar hero world tour)

i tried unlocking all the songs with the cheat code but it when did the cheat code with the guitar nothing happened. anyone know if there is a trick with using the cheat code?

after enabling the cheat code, you then need to go back to that Modify Game part of the options, and scroll down. There will be something called unlock all, or unlock all songs. You can toggle this on and off there, rather than just unlocking by entering the code. Probably so you can turn the cheat back off and start saving again w/o resetting the game like on RB1.

One of the faster ways to unlock all the songs normally is going thru the Play challenges part of the tour, and do either all the decades challenges or all the marathon challenges. There are usually 1 or two of each of those per tier/level. Finishing one set will unlock the next of that type. If you do the marathons, when you unlock impossible set 1, you will have unlocked all the songs
