After only two days and only a few hours of use the tip of one of our drumsticks sheared off. Tried to contact EA by phone but that was ridiculously long wait. Sent email and there response was go buy one! Not covered under warranty! Ok if we had been playing with it for a month or so I could see them thinking it had been worn but two days!! There is obviously a defect in the wood. Very poor customer service!

Quit whining and go out and buy some quality drumsticks. I saw a set the other day in Game Crazy that were made out of aluminum. You would probably break the drums before you broke those sticks!

I'm not a professional drummer, not even close, and I've broken sticks. I keep the RB sticks for company.
Fact is, your taking a soft wood and beating against rubber and hard plastic. They will get nicked, shear, dent, and ultimately break. If you hit the pads like I do, you should break the drums soon too. I did!

No, there is obviously NOT a defect in the wood and you probably hit the stick the the hardened plastic under the drum pads way too hard. Quit the whining.

Oh wow, aluminum! Well My Drumsticks haven't broken yet, I usually check for cracks and all that, who knows, if you don't want to spend money, just get a block of hardwood you already have and sand it to the shape of a drum stick or drum sticks... A few fun hours or days of wood work can be worth it!

This thread made John Bonham cry for you.
Please do not ever take up playing real drums. It would be quite sad.
"oh noes....My skin on the snare ripped. The company won't refund me for playing too hard"

Sh!t happens. Get some new drumsticks. They are seriously 5 dollars. EA doesn't make drumsticks. Real drummers break sticks all the time. You know what they do? They get some new ones. My RB2 sticks warped right out of the box. They aren't straight, they are somewhat bent and felt awkward to play. So I went and bought some quality ones. Maybe you should too.
