Problems with Overdrive

I just got Rockband for PS3. Everything works great except that I cannot get my guitar controller to activate Overdrive. This is after I have gotten the meter well past half way. I am a Guitar Hero veteran so I am familiar with how to tilt the guitar up. Am I having a software issue or is something wrong with the controller?

Welcome to the forums. Likely an issue with the angle of the sensors. I had ro mess around with mine til I got them at the right angle. Check out the hardware mods forum at scorehero, you'll be walked though how to adjust.

Thanks its still under warranty so I'll probably send it back. Pain in the neck though
