I believe it was announced that all versions in the stores will be the newest available version.
Don't know about guitars.
Most people haven't played both versions, so thats hard to comment on.

Wow so glad this forum and the rest of the world revolves around you. Unfortunately in the real world when people with jobs that work hard for the money spend $160 on a game to play, and two of the key components fail within 3 days of release, then yeah people have a right to vent their frustrations on the forum ran by the company that distributes the game. So, I guess judging by all the threads and equipment issues that it really "Sucks for you" on the boards at this point. You started your thread off with great questions but it was overshadowed by seeing your idiotic and childish rant at the end. Just remember if your equipment fails not to be a hypocrit and publish one word over the issue on the boards.
