drum problem:blue pad is working like my footpedal and vice versa

Okay just was excited about getting RB2 and got home from searching a million stores and i began 2 play and my foot pedal and blue pad play together, when i hit the blue pad it orks like a combo between the blue pad and the foot pedal, almost like im hittin them both(the foot pedal and blue pad together), but im not!! so im searching everything and cant find nothing, PLEASEEE HELPP!! heard the warranty process is LONGGggg

You more than likely plugged the pedal into the blue extension jack in the back. The correct jack for the pedal is up higher and is colored orange. It is actually between the yellow & blue drum pad.

Those three jcaks below are for cymbals etc.
