Depends on your definition of screamo.
Billy Idol's song "White wedding" has a scream or two, does that count?

Screamo is a genre of music which evolved from hardcore punk and emo in the early 1990s. The term "screamo" was initially applied to a more aggressive offshoot of emo that developed in San Diego in 1991, which used short, chaotically executed songs which grafted "spastic intensity to willfully experimental dissonance and dynamics," often with a political message. Some groups had an even harder edge that put them closer to the noise rock and grindcore styles. In the early 2000s, the genre name began to describe a different, slower and less dissonant style that borrowed from alternative rock, most notably in a 2003 New York Times article. The term's application to the "second wave" is controversial among fans and practitioners of the earlier style. One musician observed that the term "has been kind of tainted in a way, especially in the States".
The term "screamo" was initially applied to a more aggressive offshoot of emo that began in 1991, in San Diego, at the Ché Café, with groups such as Heroin, Antioch Arrow, Angel Hair, Mohinder, Swing Kids, and Portraits of Past. These groups were influenced by D.C. hardcore (particularly Fugazi and Nation of Ulysses), straight edge, the Chicago group Articles of Faith, and post-punk, such as Joy Division and Bauhaus. Gravity Records and Ebullition Records released this more chaotic and expressive style of hardcore. The scene was also notable for its distinctive fashion sense, inspired by mod culture.Screamo bands became increasingly theatrical, and re-appropriated aspects of Gothic rock and synthpop in groups such as the VSS, Pleasure Forever, The Crimson Curse, The Locust, Some Girls, and The Rapture. The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower incorporated the style into punk jazz. Much as emo was, the term "screamo" was always controversial in the scene.
Sorry but you will not find any of these bands in the game.
Oh and Killswitch is not a "Screamo" band.

I can see how some would call KSE screamo, but they really are not, some times they can be, but not usually. If you want screamo, hit up Guitar Hero World Tour, they have Bullet for My Valentine (that was not a flame, it was a point.)

KSE isn't screamo, they're metalcore.
Anyway, if there were x amount of screamo songs in this game (or in the world for that matter) it would be/it is x too many.

Screamo is the most failorific label ever applied to any music. It generalizes DOZENS of genres by what is 99% of the time the LEAST IMPORTANT PART OF THE MUSIC.
voodoo: KSE fans care. I love My Curse, but without the screaming, it's just not the same.
If you insist on calling it "screamo":
- This Calling
- Chiron
- Earache pack (3 songs)
- Prequel To The Sequel
- That Underoath song
- Are You Dead Yet?
Around eight songs. Maybe ten. Certainly no more than a dozen.
In other words, not enough. :)

I think that if At The Gates, The Haunted, Evile, BTBAM or COB were even put into the screamo by someone who was serious about it... well... they would need help. But yes, Underoath is DEFINITELY screamo, All That Remains could be too, they are more metalcore, but they have some screamo to them.

What, exactly, do you define as "screamo"? To me, it's just a word people who don't know about metal use to describe everything they hear with extreme vocals - which is a LOT of metal spanning a LOT of genres. Ergo, I find it a bit odd that you differentiate metalcore and "screamo", and even more so that ATG, The Haunted, Evile, BTBAM, and COB, who, in their RB songs at least (ATG never sang, and COB only has singing on a couple songs, both covers), have screamed vocals exclusively, don't constitute "screamo".

Screamo to me is pretty much what Underoath and Bullet For My Valentine do, they mix in Emotional stuff/vocals (whiny if you will) with hardcore/metalcore (breakdowns, screaming). COB is far from Screamo, they are a melodic thrash/black (not so much black, but they have some tastes of it) metal band.

Considering screamo easily falls into the tr00 post-hardcore clump, yeah, maybe.
