we bought RB1 in June and are using those instruments with RB2 stand-alone. the guitar drops in and out ALL the time now playing RB2, and RARELY in RB1.
changed batteries has always solved the problem for RB1, not so much for this issue.
potential problems: we never used a wireless router for our wii on RB1. we bought the wireless router for a new lap top we got around the same time as RB2.
when we unplugged the router the guitar would still drop out in the middle of a song multiple times.
