Today while i was playing my whammy bar suddenly broke. I know exactly what broke, which would be the small spring in the guitar that is not very durable. I had the same issue with my guitar hero 2 guitar a while back, and i opened it up to see what the issue is. But i have not opened my rock band guitar, and do not plan too, bc i do not want to cancel out the warranty which i hope there is. My question is how do i get it fixed/replaced and is there a warranty. Also, i hope there is a warranty bc that would be a large disappointment considering that harmonix and its partnering companies have a good reputation within the gaming community, so i hope that there are no issues and i can get this problem fixed.

For the time being you can use an elastic.
Put it around the whammy bar and put the other end around the little knob where the strap goes and it will work until you get a replacement guitar.

Dude, did you miss the 10,000 threads on sending items back/broken items, or the red note in the box, or the sticky on top.
Sorry there is no warranty, you need to buy a whole new Rock Band game.

sorry if i at all offended you. I am trying to be as helpful as i can. I posted a link for you and i was being serious about the welcome to the forums, it wasnt meant to be taken the wrong way. there are a million threads of people needing replacements and the place to get those replacements, i dont see why you would need an individual response if you are not alone in your problem. Just trying to keep the forums clean if thats possible and sorry if i offended you. I dont think i need to repost the link that has come up at least 3 times in this forum but you can also go t support.ea.com and click on questions, they force you to make an account but after that, you select a game (rock band of course) and they will respond and rather quickly too. I wrote to them at 12 am last night and got a response by the time i woke up at 6
