Flirtin With Disaster??!!

I lurk around these forums quite often and see people talking about different songs being hard, I am by far a pro but my god am I the only one who thinks Flirtin With Disaster - Molly hatchet is hard?

I finally beat it tonight on hard which completed my solo career! But it took me forever! I would rather play green grass high tides any day as opposed to Flirtin with disaster!

Just curious if any others find it difficult?

That was the only song on Hard guitar that gave me trouble. I keep hearing about GGaHT but I got through that first try. Molly Hatchet took me all night. Didn't help that I insisted on playing it on my Strat which has a buggy fret button but they were working most of my failed attempts.

I fail at 79% every time. I've been at it for two days now and it's frustrating. Especially when all the other songs on expert except for this one, green grass and the motley crew one didnt give me any trouble at all. The solos are killing me...

I kept failing that one, but I finally got it. Practice is all I can say. The solo is hard as the hell. I save all my energy until then, and use it just before the audience starts walking out on me. Usually gets me through, and the rest of the song is pretty straight forward after that.

Im glad to hear I am not the only one! I finally wound up doing what Brane Ded said just practiced and saved up my star power, and finally made it through with a 4* I dont know if I will ever 5* it:o

GGaHT is REALLY hard on expert, and a ***** because I keep failing at 95% which is like 9 minutes of song.

I can ace this tune in medium but forget hard. The sad part is that I can play this on any one of my real guitars. Freaking plastic toy guitar I despise you!!!

yea, the solo in 4 of the 5 "hard" songs is what is the kicker. Timing a saved overdrive is the solution.

LOL! Same here. I failed at 95% about 15 times. It took me close to 20 times to finally beat this hard ass song! Its all about saving your overdrive until you get in the red and then making sure you refill it asap!

This is the only song I'm stuck on. I havn't been able to pass it, but my strat is now currently broken so I won't be able to for a while either.
