Just saw a different Rock Band commercial.

Anyone just see the new Rock Band commercial on ESPN.

It has various people sitting on a plane and they are talking about why bands all have "The" in front of their name. Like The Hives, The Strokes etc. and they are all holding Rock Band instruments. And then it ends with the a kid in the back saying "The Losers" referring to the group of 3 or 4 people having a conversation about the "The" bands.

Suffragette City played at the end of the commercial. Shocked, huh? Also an X-box 360 was shown during the commercial and ended with the Live logo.

Yup. Saw it. Not really to great imo. You don't really see the game, or really understand it.

I switched over to check the score of the game and caught the last part when the girl says "that's why I broke up with you" then it showed the rock band logo. I want to see the whole thing but it's not up on youtube yet.

I saw another one with some guys playing RB sitting around, and one told the other one only one of them could do a scissor kick, because both of them doing it would be stupid, or something. If I hadn't known what Rock Band was going in to the commercial, I'd have no idea what it was. Then again, I guess you'd get the same feeling from the CG trailer, even though that's more badass.

Are those seriously Rock Band commercials? What the hell do scissor kicks have to do with Rock Band? At all? (But now I'm definetly interested in seeing them :) )

scissors kicks are like...move #73 on the big rock moves and technique list.

i think the commercials are designed to somewhat confuse people and interest them in the game. if they're funny spots you'll get more people viewing them. i.e: the reebok terrible terry tate

Those are great! Much better than the animated intro one. That said, the peripherals looking 9/10ths real as it is may not get noticed by most people.

I wonder if there's a fourth to come showing them playing or something as they kind of fit a timeline.
