If you wanna get rid of it or you just can't play it anymore, I have a use for it:
I wanna take the chip board that the strum bar buttons are attached to and see if this will add some spring to the Stratocaster's strum bar, helping it return to a neutral position after strumming.
Anyone have this part they can part with?

Bumped, before the thread gets buried.

Actually, if you just want more spring to the strat's strum bar, if you open your strat there are already hooks in place to add rubber bands. Toss on a couple 1/8 inch rubberbands (the kind you find in the pharmacy section for braces) and you'll be ultra springy with minimal work.

This is actually kind of sad. I've owned four Guitar Hero guitars - two for the original PS2 GH1 and the 360 Xplorer and Les Paul Wireless for GH2 and GH3 respectively. I've never had any problems with any of them, even my PS2 guitars were being beaten up on my local party circuit for well over a year.
My Rock Band Strat stopped working after 4 hours of game play.

This isn't on topic at all. Please refrain from turning each thread into a thread about strat reliability. (No offense intended, it's just getting difficult to have discussions without them being derailed in this direction.)
