why the **** would they tour without Jerry Garcia. That's the wrong decision.

Couldn't disagree with you more. It's music that they created together. This is band with a lot of good vibes and music to be shared yet. Besides they're going out as "The Dead". Ask yourself one simple question. Do you think Garcia would say "Guy I don't want you play our songs anymore" If you know anything about Garcia you know the answer to that question.

I love the Grateful Dead, but I will not go see this crap without Jerry. I saw tons of Phil and Friends shows when Haynes and Herring were on guitar and that was amazing. Unfortunately when you involve Bob Weir, the songs get slowed down to a crawl...Dont get me wrong I love Weir and some of his tunes, but no Jerry no deal.
