Can't get the USB hub to work.

I've got everything plugged in the right places I think, but my console isn't recognizing the instruments plugged into the hub. When I plug them in it seems like they only go in about half way. Is it supposed to be like that?

half way? Did you plug them in upside down?

My hub did not work out of the box. This could be your problem. If the green light does not come on when you hook everything up, you may have a defective hub like I did. Call EA and they will troubleshoot everything you probably already tried, and then send you a new one.

They have to assume you are stupid and make you go through everything first. They also ask for a credit card just so you know.

try the usb port on the back of the console

Make sure you assign the instrument to the correct usb port on the system. It took me like 20 mins to figure out what was going on with mine on my PS3 version. I thought it didn't work till I matched stuff up.
