Guys, I've got great news... Cherry 7-Up exists!!

So I was grocery shopping today... and I stumbled upon Cherry 7-Up!! I had never seen such a thing in my life!!

I was wandering down the beverage aisle, and I thought to myself "I haven't had raspberry ginger ale in a while... I think I'll pick some up." And I did just that. I was ready to speed down the aisle and move on to the next one, when something caught my eye... a 7-Up logo with a CHERRY in place of the typical red dot. Are you kidding me?! 7-Up (which is practically the same as ginger ale or Sprite, and which I can't remember drinking since 1995 or so) mixed with CHERRY (my absolute favorite artificial fruit flavor)?!

I took the bottle of raspberry ginger ale and smashed it on the floor (not really). I grabbed the Cherry 7-Up and raced home, eager to have my Cherry 7-Up cherry popped (no pun intended...or is it??).

Good news, gang! It's AMAZING! Go get some! Spread the word!

Oh, and did I mention that I've been topping it off with vodka all evening, and this post probably wouldn't exist if otherwise? Yeah, that part's awesome too!

I found out about the wonders of Cherry 7-Up while at "Pap's", the local general store, on the way to my cabin about five years ago. It sure is some great stuff, huh? :D

I remember trying some during my holiday in Crete, and I thought it was pretty nice as well.

I didn't try much of it, though... the little supermarket where I bought it offered Irn-Bru as well, and no other soft drink can match the nectar of the (Scottish) gods.

Prefer Bawls G33k B33r (root beer) to Cherry Bawls, but Cherry is still good...

...didn't realize that Cherry 7-Up was that unusual. Been around the stores here for ages... too bad Pomegranate 7-Up is only seasonal, though.

That being said, I'd probably start spazzing if I saw a grocery store here that carried Seagram's Ginger Ale... all we have here is Schweppes and Vernors.

I haven't either, but I'm okay with that.

Go to any diner in the world and they'll make you a REAL vanilla Coke. With real vanilla syrup. Makes the bottled Vanilla Coke taste like crap.
