Ok heres the thing I have a USA version of rockband and I live in the uk so have to use uk PS3 servers.
So yes the DLC say all purchased  or if I download from the uk PS3 shop sever the game does not find the tracks MOST ANNOYING.
Now being a big ACDC fan I have just brought the ACDC live disc from a uk store.
However it seems that instead of just putting this disc in the PS3 and rocking out you get a download code even though I brought the disc?
Why do I need a code when I brought the disc? I am starting to smell a rip off rat here!
Does this mean the game will download the songs but my USA game wont find them?
Help please as on my wage I don’t want to waste 25 quid as you only get one download which again seems bad I am worried about putting the disc in until I know it will work.

1.The code allows you to import AC/DC into RB or RB2 for free. You don't need the code to play the game.
2.US Rock Band and UK PSN store are not compatible. You have to download from the US PSN store. DLC is not region-free. You also won't be able to import AC/DC to your US Rock Band.

Hi
Thank you for the reply
Sorry but can you clarify as i am a bit confused (generally over all things in life ) err hummm.
a)The code allows you to import the game for FREE (but i brought the disc why does it need a code) into rb or rb2? does this mean the disc is a stand alone game that will play without RB running and you have to import in to play with your characters?
b) or are you just saying it wont work on my USA RB game?

1.Rock Band AC/DC is in fact a stand alone game. You don't need RB or RB2 to play it. The code allows you to import the songs to RB1 or RB2 so that you don't need to switch discs if you want to play a RB1/2 song or some AC/DC stuff.
2. You won't be able to import AC/DC to RB since the two games are from two different regions. Thats also the reason why you wasted some money on DLC. But you can play AC/DC without any problems.
