whew! Just finished practicing (real) guitar for 9 hours straight!

Well...not straight...on and off mostly...probably about 5 hours all together. Sorry I lied. :P

I didn't even know it was possible to get this tired...I'm not sure if I have a headache cause I've been looking at internet chords all day or I am sick...probably the second one. Teeerrrrrific.

Song I'm trying to learn, if anybody cares, is "Follow Me" As performed by the Beat Crusaders, featured in the anime Beck. This would be my second song I've ever learned, with Talk Dirty To Me by Poison being my 1st.

So yeah...I'm really tired. And I just remembered I have homework. %@#!!

I'll post a youtube video up once I can play it somewhat well. (gotta get quicker at chord changes)

I can never sit down and play that long. Probably becuase I suck at guitar, so I just stop trying after a while. Im to busy to really take the time to learn it though.

I miss band practice... picking a saturday and practicing from noon to 6, packing our stuff up and going to a gig, and then playing from 9 to 3.

Back to the OP, grats and keep practicing; you will get better. One suggestion I have for you is to go out and buy some good reusable ear plugs. GC sells them for like 15 bucks (Hearos brand are good). Otherwise, you will be like me and several others after 30+ years of playing. Half-deaf, and a constant ringing in my ears that never ceases.

I got lazy last week and didn't put them in when I was jammin' for about 3 hours and now I am back to a worse ring than before. Pete Townsend actually talked about this extensively as he went tone deaf from too many "turn it to 11" Who shows.

I always lose track of time when I start playing. I could be in my music room for 3-4 hours and it would seem like ten minutes....
