I thought there would be more metal. Your title is misleading, but it's not a bad list

I was going to put some metal bands but this list is more for some balanced but good bands/songs that most people that would play Rock Band would probably be into. More or less Alternative Rock.

Yeah. This is like my mom's setlist.

Yeah. This is like my mom's setlist.
As I'm sure I said before, this list is more Alternative/Popular Rock, which if you have noticed is more or less what the entire Rock Band Setlist is made of. I came up with this list as an idea of quite a few different bands/songs that people who have at least heard of them would like to play as well as a few I'd like to see put on the game as well.

i love some of your band choices.. i'd change a few of the songs in some of the packs though
the bad religion, weezer, greenday, queen, and metallica packs i'd change just a bit.. "under pressure" is a DEFINITE for queen though.. damn, that would be a blast to play
green day though i'd put "when i come around", "sassafras roots" and "basketcase" though.. bad religion i'd put "21st century digital boy" and "new dark ages".. metallica i'd throw "nothing else matters" and "fade to black" with "master of puppets".. the offspring pack you made though is A+ quality, i'd definitely but that one! and i'd love to see some Rolling Stones albums instead of packs, you can't just satisfy with 3 songs lol.. muse and my chemical romance would also be great
all in all, great suggestions!

Thanks. For Bad Religion I'd just like to play "Infected" for the vocals and guitars, "El Scorcho" for Weezer, "Brainstew" for Green Day, and "No Leaf Clover" for Metallica. I should have thought of Basketcase though, nice pointing that one out.

True, they would make a good band to have in RB as well but the only two songs I can remember of the top off my head were "The Distance" and "No Phone". Haven't listened to them in a while. ^^;

Just realized that this list could use more female lead vocals. I know quite a few girls who have been asking for them. Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, the game needs GOOD bands with female vocals, not crappy bandslike Flyleaf. Some Warlock or Vainglory would be cool, maybe some Girlschool as well.

Well Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Garbage were good, but there should really be more female vocals for the females who would like to take a shot at Rock Band.

Neither of those songs were good imo. Fun to play, a little, but not good songs.

Not a big fan of either band, they have some good songs though. Either way I may include them in the next list I can come up with.

I almost **** when I saw flagpole sitta...I've been saying that song would be great in this game for a while.
Also I don't see how the white stripes could function well in a this game. 2 members.

Well it would be vocals, guitar, and drums. That's all you really need for RB.

To each their own... I actually liked the Disturbed version of "Land of Confusion" as well as Nonpoints cover of "In The Air Tonight" as opposed to Genesis and Phil Collins. Don't get me wrong, Phil Collins and Genesis are great but the newer covers just seems to have a little more energy to it.
