I tried to make a well balanced but still awesome set list and this is what I came up with. A few of the songs need double kick drum (so I'm hoping they put that in the game):

I'm pretty sure this is a set list that most people would enjoy. But there is a little bit of heavy and difficult stuff near the end... Tell me what you think of this.

Nice list with good songs especially A Tout Le Monde and Famous Last Words but Barracuda is already confirmed for Guitar Hero 3 and I dont think Harmonix will choose them bonus songs as bonus songs :/

Warning: Teh Jakester might flame at ya for putting Stairway in the list (Whole Lotta Love or Communication Breakdown would be better) and choosing popular songs but anything except Stairway would be good and it's a party game to play popular rock songs it's not a big focused game of skill where you play songs that you have heard from your favourite bands

I tried to make it a balance of popularity and skill... did I not pick enough popular songs? or did I pick too many hard ones? I chose a few weird ones cuz theyre good for a laugh... and I personally believe the game wouldnt be complete without: SOAD, Protest the Hero, Thrice, Atreyu, Billy Talent, DragonForce and The Human Abstract.

Which Heart song can I replace Barracuda with then, since it is already gonna be in GH3? or can anyone think of another good band/song with a female vocalist? I think all my other sets are pretty much perfect... I forgot to add an encore though. I might have been on drugs while thinking up those bonus tracks though. Scratch the Brittney and 50 Cent and replace them with: Choke - Breathing Won't Come Easy and Chiodos - There's No Penguins in Alaska

So you are saying that Frantic and St. Anger are better than Puppets. You gotta be kidding me. Justice and Ride the Lightning are great and Horsemen is good too, but Frantic is ok at best, and St. Anger is not good at all atleast to me. Dont just say i have bad taste in music because I dont like a song, because anyone can say the samething about anything.

You sound like the guy that hates anything anywhere near mainstream. Whats wrong with a song because its popular.

More games will sell to the average gamer if they know the songs. So why not put the popular songs on the game. Then later add the lesser known songs as bonus stuff or DLC. Thats the smart economical move.

The only problem with Orion is that its an insturmental so i doubt they will use that. But Sanitarium is really good. The problem is that most people excluding this board will want Sandman or Puppets for a Metallica song. Those along with One are the most popular ones.

The people on this board are a very small minority of the target audience. That has to be taken into account when picking a song, so popularity should be a factor. True only using popular songs would not be good because most of them are definetly over played. So many people are already tired of hearing them. Still its not always good to take a less popular great song over a good very popular song.

I just got into Metal and Rock when I got GH II for Christmas. What's up with the bonus tracks?

everything is ok part from Bonus set beacuse the only time you play them is when your very drunk.
