Whammy bar - not loose, just not working

Well, I have a rb1 guitar, and have owned it since last summer. Just today, I've noticed that the whammy bar isn't working anymore. Please (!) don't confuse this with the "broken spring" problem. Mine is completely fine in springiness; it just doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I guess you could say it won't wham anymore.

So, is there any way to fix this myself, or can it be sent in for repairs/replacement?

you will have to tinker with it or get a friend who can.

the other option is to buy a RB2 guitar
