I'm not a fan of them at all, but I gotta admitt, the song on rockband is fun to play on the drums

Also on bass.

I'll admit, I'm kinda ashamed that I now know the words to a FoB song by heart... :o

I do like Fall out Boy and I am very happy how well the song turned out. If the note chart was forgettable then it would just be more pilling on but they really did a good job with the song. They may not be everyone's cup of tea but at least you guys are willing to admit that they may not have been the worst choice for the game.

Yea, it's not a terrible song.

I'm not a fan of most of Fall Out Boy's stuff, but I love their most recent album. I was kinda disappointed they didn't pick a track off of that album, but Dead on Arrival is pretty decent.

Fall Out Boys song "Dead On Arrival" should be the theme song for this game. After all so many peoples guitars and drums don't work right out of the box.

man does that song suck, the lyrics are terrible, i get so confused when singing it because the're just nonsensical bull****

I don't think I've encountered a song that I truly don't like. This game did an excellent job with song selection.

When I saw Fallout Boy, I was hoping for one of their more recent songs, as I definitely prefer their sound now to when they were first released, but yes, they did a good job with the song.

Also, I'm surprised I haven't seen more threads about Coheed and Cambria. I was ready for the most awful song ever, and now it's one of the songs I play the most.

The music on this song is okay, but I do hate the lyrics and singing it... With a passion.

I really enjoyed the little bit of poetic justice where my friend would NOT stop talking about how "upset" he was about FOB being in the game, and then I got to see him fail out when he finally played it b/c the chords kicked his butt.

Not my favorite song or anything, but that was great.

even though i liked on of FOB's recent tunes for a little bit, i still regard dead on arrival as a guilty pleasure. last time i brought it to a friends house i was like.. lets do fall out boy! they were all saying "ehh??" but i hopped on the vocals and had fun with it.

of course the drums on expert are fun.. really fun in fact if you can actually get all the hits.. the song ends up sounding epic. (not faith no more - epic, though)

I think Thnks Fr Th Mmrs would have been an amazing song to play with people, but DOA is still pretty fun regardless.

and hey thats what DLC's for.

i honestly cant stand fall out boy one bit, but seeing how they are the only emo band in the game i guess it does add some much needed variety

I would almost have no problem with Fall Out Boy, it's just that their songs and lyrics and the vocals are terrible. It's the same with My Chemical Romance; if they changed their lyrics and dropped the singer, they'd be an amazing band.

I never liked FoB at all. I was pretty disgusted that it was going to be on RB.

I met someone who changed the way I looked music. He showed me a completely different side of musical appreciation.

I still don't like the song but... it has fond memories attached to it :(

I hoped I would feel this way. Unfortunately, I still think the song sucks.

I was kind of hoping for Calm Before the Storm or even Thanks For the Memories. DoA isn't bad, I actually kinda dig FoB.

of course that's not a bad song, it's off their second album (if you count the EP.) fo' realz, it's their only good stuff.

maybe they can release some DLC from Take this to your Grave like...
Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today
or Saturday... maybe even Grenade Jumper.

I sure do loves me some old FoB.

The Thing That sucks for singing is that their Lead Singer cant Sing for Crap. it makes me think of the vids on youtube were that do the real lyrics for the songs

HPLabonte

this is a chorus, and a verse, at the same time. it makes sense. flip me over. this is side one. on a cd. you flip me over. you just cant read me.

"dead on uhhhriiiivaalllll"

sigh. /hangs head low
may be an okay song with no lyrics, but the singer just kills me. he's pretty much as good as I am (thats not good, by the way). oh well. there had to be one stinker, right?

the drums took me a few times to get on expert but once you do it is quite a fun song, and challenging. I still need to go back and "master" it; I passed it and had to move on. It's actually, imo, a good bit harder than the songs around it.

Yeah, they failed music theory in middle school.

I don't think that song even has a key or time signature.

nor do they have any idea what a verse or chorus is.

4/4 in the key of C, including occasional A-natural chord to build tension. Honestly, the music is good for power-pop. The lyrics are just wanting...
