Ever have a song insprire you?

Well one time I was playing Monopoly on my iPod Nano and I had music in my library playing in the background. So I'm totally losing and then Wasted Years by Iron Maiden comes on and I feel like I can totally own this game even though I only had like three properties left I hadn't mortgaged. Sadly I lost the game anyway. Tell about some times where a song has ever inspired you?

When I listern to a song from rock band, It normanly inspire me to go play rock band. Does that count?

I was playing a pick up game of basketball. i had one more free shot before we went in. I had to make it. my brother was trying to mess me up so he started singing "Casey Jones" to mess up my shot. I made it. Ever since then, the only time i try to sing any other song, i miss. When i sing Casey Jones i always make it!

I think Wynona's big brown beaver inspired me to get a bass guitar, kurt cobain inspired me to pick up a six string, jimi hendrix inspired me, then depressed me b/c I couldn't reach that level, then jimmy page inspired me and I learned a ton of zeppelin, but never could get "Since I been lovin you". I've had a ton of musical inspiration, steve vai is a noteable one, although he's insane I can play a ton of his material and that inspired me to keep trying to learn complicated stuff. Music inspires me to create music, and there are a few songs that have inspired me outside of music. Spacelord by Monster Magnet for example just gives me a feeling of empowerment like I'm on top of the world.

I was bowling with a couple friends one time, and the alley was playing some modern top 40 garbage. So naturally I'm doing really poorly. Then some Van Halen starts playing and I get a strike. I still lost, but I think I would've won had there been more Van Halen.
