now that you've said this, said brownie points are lost.
instead of "aww honey thats sweet" it'll be *thinks*"he obeyed some guy on the internet.. great"
to be related, I love my gf very much also, I couldn't think of a life with another.

I will not show her this, I am a Manly - Man, sometimes i can be romantic but i prefer to be surprising about it, and this thread seems too fabricated. She would see right through it. :)
I had this moment early this morning, she had the bed head going on, red hair all mussed, drinking a cup of coffee, and i just......well you know the rest. :o

Man, I was always thinking of making a love thread, but I never knew what to like call it or anything. But this thread is fine.
And yeah, I have spent a while looking at the girl I like. I've liked her since she came to my school, which was 8th Grade. Now I'm a Freshman, and I'm super close to going out with her. A lot of stuff has happened since 8th Grade like at the end of the year an ass hole ex-friend of mine told her I liked her, and I was standing RIGHT there. Also, another one of my jack ass friends asked her out like two weeks ago knowing I liked her. That's just against Man Code, dude.
But I regress... Yeah, love is an awesome thing.

Getting a little misty in here, somebody interpret these lyrics...
Kiss me goodbye pushing out before I sleep
Kiss me goodbye
Can’t you see I try swimming the same deep
Pushing out before I sleep
Water as you is hard ’the shallow drowned lose
Can’t you see I try
Less than we’ you breathe the strangest twist
Swimming the same deep water as you is hard
Upon your lips ’and we shall be together...’
The shallow drowned lose less than we
You breathe the strangest twist upon your lips
’kiss me goodbye bow your head and join with
And we shall be together...
Me’ and face pushed deep rteflections meet
Kiss me goodbye bow your head and join with me
The strangest twist upon your lips and
And face pushed deep reflections meet
Dissapear the ripples clear and laughing break
The strangest twist upon your lips and dissapear
Against your feet and laughing break the mirror
The ripples clear and laughing break
Sweet ’so we shall be together...’
Against your feet and laughing break the mirror sweet
So we shall be together...
’kiss me goodbye’ pushing out before I sleep
It’s lower now and slower now the strangest
Kiss me goodbye pushing out before I sleep
Twist upon your lips but I don’t see and I dont
It’s lower now and slower now the strangest
Feel but tightly hold up silently my hands
Twist upon your lips but I don’t see and I dont
Before my fading eyes and in my eyes your
Feel but tightly hold up silently my hands
Smile the very last thing before I go...
Before my fading eyes and in my eyes your
Smile the very last thing before I go...
I will kiss you I will kiss you I will kiss you
Forever on nights like this I will kiss you I will
I will kiss you I will kiss you I will kiss you
Kiss you and we shall be together...
Forever on nights like this I will kiss you I will
Kiss you and we shall be together..

Don't sweat it. I'm pretty detached from the crappiness of the situation. We're both still pretty much completely in love with each other, so I'm just kinda killing time trying to distract myself.
But I am genuinely happy for you though. Seriously, I know pretty much exactly how that feels, and I'm glad to hear that you've experienced it too.

I believe in her, as she believes in me.....:D
Time is never time at all
You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth
And our lives are forever changed
We will never be the same
The more you change the less you feel
Believe, believe in me, believe
Believe that life can change
That youre not stuck in vain
Were not the same, were different tonight
Tonight, so bright
Tonight
And you know youre never sure
But youre sure you could be right
If you held yourself up to the light
And the embers never fade in your city by the lake
The place where you were born
Believe, believe in me, believe
Believe in the resolute urgency of now
And if you believe theres not a chance tonight
Tonight, so bright
Tonight
Well crucify the insincere tonight
Well make things right, well feel it all tonight
Well find a way to offer up the night tonight
The indescribable moments of your life tonight
The impossible is possible tonight
Believe in me as I believe in you, tonight

I'm glad some people are happy. I just wish it'd be my turn to be happy. It seems like any girl I date turns into a psycho whore... *Sigh*. I just want to understand is it like a sin to "love" someone? I don't know. I guess I'm just wayyyyyyyyyyy too mature for my age.
Anyways, but I am happy for ya bro. The more happy people in this world the better!

Considering I've only been with my girlfriend for not even a week, I can't say this exactly, but I would not be surprised for it to get this far. The first time we talked on the phone (after never meeting in person or having any other conversation except a couple messages back and forth on myspace) we ended up talking for a good 3 or so hours. So yeah... I kinda know how you are feeling :D

There's a girl I like a lot in my school. She moved here 2 years ago, but I have only had 3 classes with her since then. I have talked to her only 2 times, and it seems like it'll stay that way throughout high school. But whatever, I'm alright with it. I don't trust teenage emotions enough to believe it's truly love anyway.
Also, a quick tip: Never tell your friends whom you like/love. I never have and it has helped me avoid a lot of trouble.
One last thing... I wanna throw my joke entry into the love song bit - I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness. I was listening to it when I opened this thread, so ya...

I feel ya on the emotions bit. When i was in high school, i was really introverted, and avoided as many people as possible, but my GF brought me out of my shell. In fact she has done allot more for me than i have given her credit for.

Nah, I'm much to shy for that. For example, when I first started Jr. High 3 years ago, it took me two weeks to talk to someone not from my elementary school. The only thing I enjoy about being shy, is when people actually get to know me and I become more comfortable talking to them, they are almost always suprised that idon't fit whatever mold seems to be stereotyped upon me.

Yea i was this way in Middle School. I changed in High school. Best. Idea. Ever. Girls started liking me. I finally got dates. I would advise just tell her how you feel. It's not like it would hurt anything. either you sit and nothing happens, or you tell her and you actually have a chance with her

That's just the thing, I don't know if I want to have a chance with her. To be blunt (and perhaps sound like a fool), shee deserves better than me. She's funny, nice, and beautiful. Me on the other hand, I'm probably average at best. I'm just the kid in the middle with a song stuck in his head (Literally, my friends tell me I must have a radio in my head).

You'll never know until you try. Before i started dating the love of my life,
I tried with other girls. It didn't work out. And it's pretty much embarrassing that i still talk to the girls that have rejected me many times. {well not embarrassing now, because i'm going out with a girl} But listen, if I never took a chance on my girlfriend, i would'nt be going out with her. Plain and simple. Start talking to the girl more, get to know her, and if she's cool, ask her out.
protip: don't wait too long though to ask her out, if you do, you'll fall into the dreaded friendzone.

Here's a tip that works for me.
When you're having down time in class, and people are talking, and there's an opening for you to say something (perhaps they're asking a question that no one in the conversation knows, but you know) pipe up. Then, you slowly get into the conversation, you get IM accounts, people add you on Facebook, it goes from there.

For people still looking for good love songs, I say a good one for a long distance relationship would Wish You Were Here.
Also, if you choose Wonderwall or Champagne Supernova as your "song", then that relationship is destined to fail. Dont ask me why, its just the rules :p
As for being lost in love, yeah, I remember those good times....

Some one I really can say I love, but don't go out with. (She's broken up for now, but might get back with her ex). I write about her, think about her constantly, and even want to get back to school, just to talk to her in person.

I think like you. I view myself as WORSE than the kid in the middle. But when I found...her, I just threw that **** behind me and started talking. Just talk about music, since that's you're thing you say.
You just have to talk. I know that everyone's said that. But trust me, I'm still that way, I just made one exception because I view her as smart, beautiful, and one of the honest to god most kind-hearted people I've met ever, especially in school (I'd assume you're about ninth grade like me?)
Just be there for her as much as you can. Like my friend, she has stuff going on in her house she tries to block out. I do my best to make her laugh and forget her pain. Just try to make your friend happy and then after a while, try asking her out.
(Writing poetry helps lol. I wrote before I started talking to her, but it makes some steady conversation between us.)
