I just got my Rock Band bundle for xbox last Wednesday and by Saturday the guitar was already malfunctioning. I didn't even play it more than 3 hours probably and I for sure didn't strum it like a madman.
The replacement procedure was simple, although my status still says that it hasn't been shipped as of Tuesday morning. My question is will EA extend the warranty period for the instruments? If they just send another replacement guitar, am I enevitably going to have another dud on my hands? Makes me nervous when I hear about all the problems w/the drum set too(mine still works though I've played it only 3 dozen times or so).
Knowing that it appears to be a fairly widespread problem w/the guitar and possibly drums, shouldn't EA at least extend the warranty to 1 year? I think that'd be fair and ease the mind of alot of us who dropped up to $170 on this bundle.
