Need to re-link my RB2 to the website

My save file was corrupted so I lost everything in my RB2 for Wii game and had to start over. The problem is I can't unlink my account through the website so now nothing links. I'm not allowed to delete my bands online so I have to use new names, my number is already linked so nothing updates, etc.

I've searched and found unlinking wasn't possible but the latest post was awhile ago so I'm hoping something has been changed.

Is there any way for me to re-link my RB2-Wii to the Rockband.com website? I'd really like to keep track of things but right now it looks like I'm out of luck.

I think all you have to do is get a new webcode and link the game again. It should overwrite your current link.

I created a whole new account on the website with my new name "Panheads" then linked it to my Wii.

It worked, but there should be a way added to the site to remove the link so you can re-link everything without having to create a whole new ID. I've made sure the kiddos know not to turn off the game until they go out to the Wii menu so hopefully this will not happen again. :)
