Can't Connect to Battle of the Bands

I can't connect to Battle of the Bands. My name is "classy" What could be the problem?

First, make sure that you don't have modifiers like no fail or unlock all songs enabled.

Second, try a different band name. Nintendo and Microsoft both use fairly strict filters for "unclassy" names. Parts of words (like the first three letters of assassin) and even backwards spellings may be deemed as not classy enough.

My band name is Lightnin. I have no modifiers activated. The error is something like Sorry but you are unable to connect to Battle of the Bands at this time. Please make sure that your band name is considered "classy" and that all game restricting modifiers are disabled. This is making me very upset. I have spoken to both EA and Nintendo on multiple occasions but noone seems to have any answers. I paid a lot of money for the game and I expect it to function properly.
