Had this game a week and I just read something I didn't know.

Rock Band is XBL compatiable.

I have always had trouble with EA published menu systems so maybe this isn't your fault per say, however for me not to know right away that this game is XBL is ridiculous!!! I have been playing XB since day one, as well as XBL since day one so I am not a noob.

Also, whats up with your leader system??? It's completely jacked up!! If the leader was able to switch positions it would be almost tolerable but as it is it's simply BROKEN!!!!

Not getting into the faulty equipment cause your repair numbers will tell you what you need to know on that issue.

FIX THESE ISSUES VIA A PATCH PLEASE!!!!!!

BTW, game rocks :)

If you actually played xbox since day one then you'd know every 360 title is XBL compatible. Even if it doesn't have multiplayer it always supports standard XBL features. Just because you refused to read the MANUAL don't expect major changes to a game. Hell tehre are loading cards telling you to download new songs on XBL and then to go online and play your friends in the various vs modes. Every preview and review has talked about the games XBL modes.

Nope, I had heard it in a podcast that it was several months ago but I couldn't find anything that says XBL anywhere in the menus. I know this is making me sound like an idiot, and I thought twice about posting this but I figured me being a Xbox veteran there were others that had trouble with it as well.

? if you go to multiplayer it has the online mode options right there. The leader boards are located in teh community section(also can be viewed in carrer mode by checking your musicians profile). There's an XBL logo on the box game case and manual. I'm not saying yoru dense but you seem like the kind of guy HMX has to overthink their games for.

That's pretty thick headed to think it would't be. Did you not do any research at all like any normal person would, or was this an impulse buy for you?

Well said, I am actually VERY AWARE that all 360 titles were XBL, I mis spoke, should have mentioned that I didn't see any options for multiplayer options. And I know I didn't state it correctly, but I am pretty sure most people understood what I meant. And unlike yourself sir, I normally don't need to read a manual to navigate a menu system that goes three deep. I simply stated that it should have been easier to see. Oh, and one more thing, I wouldn't expect a menu wording change would be a, as you say a "major changes to a game", Unless you like playing in the menu system for entertainment. Thanks for your input.

And to all the other people.....Yes...Apparently I am dense since everyone seems to know where it is. And yes, it was an impulse buy completely because I thought it to be fun to play with my wife.

Great, thanks for you input, glad I signed up for an account to come in here and offer my opinion. There's been what, 10 post and no one has mentioned where to look for online play, only told me where leader boards are and a bunch of people calling me stupid and dense. While you are indeed entitled to your opinion you are also entitled to Kiss my ^@%.

Was the "multiplayer" top level menu item not a big enough hint?

The only thing I don't like about the game navigation is the game's tendancy to put the default cursor on "create new" for character selections.

Generally that's the last thing you want, and results in a lot of annoying/unnecessary trips to the character builder.

Go figure you didn't find any multiplayer options under the GIANT button that says MULTIPLAYER right on the main menu...

To access the Multiplayer modes:

1. Main Menu (1st screen you see where you can select mode/options, etc.)
2. Multiplayer

- Band World Tour is not available online, but it is a local multi-player mode.
- Band Quickplay available local + online; is playable with 2-4 players and you can connect to people using this mode.
- Score Duel: Head to Head mode local + online for each instrument (raw score determines winner)
- Tug of War: Head to head mode local + online for each instrument (crowd reaction and consistency determines winner)
