8002311A Error HELP NEEDED

Hi,

I have three problems.

1: I recently bought a RB2 import from the states (am European) and when I try to redeem my 20 free songs I get a 8002311A error message.

2: I bought some songs through the European PSN store but can't find or play them in RB1 or 2.

3: I exported the songs from RB1 (also a US import) but cant find or play them in RB2.

Could anyone please help me?

before I begin I will say this : dlc are NOT REGION FREE!!!!!

with that being said. you need to set up a US PSN account to redeem the 20 free dlc you have in the RB2.

also songs bought on the EU PSN store will NOT work you need to buy them on the US PSN store

Thank you for your reply Aznman08. I tried setting up a us account but the playstation wont let me unless I register a US address which I dont have.
Do you (or anyone else) know if?

Would I be doing something illegal if I used a random persons address?

Also where is it officially stated ( I mean in the game booklet) that these downloads arent region free? How can I redeem the money I spent on these now useless DLC?

I feel like I've been robbed or punished for being an early adopter and wanting to remain a rock band user instead of GHWT (which was released earlier in the EU).

from other people with the same issue an account with the address in alaska works.

you also need to set up some e credit card to use it (entropay wont work).

its not stated in the manual its stated by sony. you can try to call up sony and they might be able to refund you for buying the dlc
