Can Wii Import Songs from Rock Band to RB2?

Can Wii import songs from Rock Band and Track packs into RB2?

I have Track packs 1, AC/DC pack and of course the original RB for Wii, can I import these songs and if so how?

Is this also something that we are waiting for with the store??? I know the other consoles have to pay some licensing fee...can't say I am happy about that in particular...but I would pay it.

Question is I guess two fold, can we import now and if so how, and if not now will this feature be available later when the store comes up?

No, you can't import songs into RB2 on Wii as of now.

at the time I posted it was not answered, and being unfamiliar with the forums here I did not realize there was a delay in the time you post a thread and it appears. At least was the case yesterday, so I accidentally duplicated the thread.

Anyway, thanks for your kind responses and all your wonderful help. I looked for hours for the answer on the import thing. You guys are just too cool.

O.K., It's been about 7 months since your last reply. Can we import RB1 tracks into RB2 on the Wii yet? If not, when? Thanks!

HMX developers have stated that it is not possible to import the RB1 tracks on the Wii, and they have no plans of releasing them as DLC. Sorry :(
