View Full Version : Can't Play Ranked Match RB2

Everytime I try to play ranked match in RB2 i get kicked back to the main menu and get a message "You have lost connection to Xbox Live. You will be unable to access any features of Xbox Live until you sign in again".
I never actually lose connection to Xbox Live and I get this message EVERY time i try to play ranked.
I can play all other xbox live matches except ranked match. Also i am never given the option to SEARCH for players like you can do in Player matches.
Someone please give me some insight on what I need to do to solve this problem.

Are you playing wired to the net or wireless?
I had a similar problem during RB1, using the wireless adapter in the Xbox360. I had to make modifications to my router for the Xbox, that allowed me to connect properly.
Havent had a problem since.

I am wired to Xbox Live. I know im not losing connection because as soon as I get the "lost connection" message I hit the guide button and can still see that im connected.

Somehow I begin to suspect that this and the faulty linking are due to serious problems on the server side back over at Harmonix and/or EA.

I got this too, anyone know the problem? I really want to play the XBl Tour with people...

Same problem, didn't have it 3 weeks ago when I last played online. I get it when I join from an invite or try to do a ranked match.
I also randomly can't access Battle of the Bands, for no apparent reason.

Seems to only happen on the wireless drum kit; I can play ranked and Live tours on guitars just fine.
