So, there are a bunch of Harmonix employees on these forums. They often post in the announcements section. Where have they all gone? The last post from them was before Thanksgiving? Why are they not posting? Please, Harmonix, there are issues that we would like answered. Here is a small list, please respond.

1) How many instruments are faulty? When will the turn around time on replacements be improved?

2) What will happen to those unfortunate souls who bout the stand-alone version of the game for PS3?

3) What is the status of Les Paul compatibility for PS3? We need something concrete, not the same old canned response.

4) What is the status of the community site?

5) What is the status of online BWT?

6) What changes were made in patch 1.01?

These are all valid questions floating around the forums and the customers deserve answers. I know you are likely hard at work coming up with answers to these questions, but a simple status report every other day or once a week would be nice. While the game is terrific, a lot of promised features (Les Paul on PS3, online BWT, community site) and issues (stand alone version, broken instruments) are plaguing the forums. For a very steep investment, I would expect a quick reaction time to these issues. Especially since, if we don't like the game, most retailers will refuse returns since it has been opened. This is especially hard for those who bought the stand alone on PS3 to play the guitar.

I await your response.

Umm lets hope they don't have ONE SINGLE MINUTE of time to look at these forums and are busy answering these questions and fixing our issues. :)

Somebody should have time. I mean, the way software development works is that not everybody is working all the time. Like, the devs might be working on fixing the bug, but that would mean the testers would be free to answer questions. Or, if it's in testing, then the developers should have some time. Go look at the Warhawk forums and see how Dylan Jobe, the game's director, posts frequently.

They are probably maintaining a low profile to avoid the masses of venomous and snarky responses they'd get in return.

Even if they posted and said "we're on the case, everything will be fixed in a week!", there would be flamers coming out of the woodwork complaining it wasn't done yesterday.

Rest assured that there are people (like Sean and myself) whose job it is to relay concerns found in the community and relay them to the team. If you get no response, it is not because you are being ignored - it is likely that we are working on offering the best solutions. Hang in there.

Well, they need to deal with that instead of keeping us in the dark.

So you can't say anything to any of those questions? I mean, couldn't you at least say whether or not they are being worked on. I mean, detail on what patch to 1.01 did should be incredibly simple.

We will update when we have something substantial to say. Like I said, be patient while we follow up on these issues.

(locked because there are many threads concerning these issues - we will update you as soon as we can)
