So my friend is in the States for Black Friday and finds a rock band bundle at one of the local Best Buy stores and calls me up and asks me if I want it. I say sure bring me back a copy. She says keep in mind you will have to pay the state taxes + duty when I bring it back to Canada. I say no big deal I will pay I want this game. wooohooo! So she gets back to Canada we rip open the box set everything up according to instructions and start playing. Half way through our second song we notice I am not hitting my notes on the guitar but I should be cause I am not that bad at all of the rock band titles. So we finish whats left of the song and go into the menu and sure enough it seems the guitar's strum is stuck in the down position. Great so I find the posts and the replacement page on the website and wouldnt u know it accepts my Candian address and my credit card information for the return and then it tells me it wont ship to CANADA!!!!
So I call RockBand support and the only excuse I get is RockBand isnt available in Canada so therefore we cannot ship your guitar to Canada! I said what does that have to do with your ability to write a Canadian Address on the package! She says we cant ship to Canada because RockBand isnt available in Canada. Again I say well my jacket isnt available in the United States but if you wanted it I sure as hell could go down to FedEx and ship it to you. She says she already has a jacket. I say fine your obviously not getting the point. You can ship to Canada you just don't want to. So whats the real reason. Again I get the "Its not available in Canada, therefore we cant ship to Canada" So I say thanks for nothing and hang up. I mean seriously Guys wtf!?
